Flower Theme Path
Close to St. Jakob, a number of different theme paths invite you to set out on excursions that are both fascinating and instructive. On the Oberseite Flower Theme Path in St. Jakob, for example, you will learn to recognize much of the colorful alpine flora that surrounds you.
You will need a certain amount of stamina to tackle the path since it rises around 800 vertical meters. This five-four walk provides fascinating insights into the plant world at various altitude ranges.
To the summits
Summit trails & via ferratas are a dream
The route takes you high up over glaciers, rock faces and steep climbs.
The supreme discipline is the ascent of the Großvenediger at 3,666m above sea level - together with a mountain guide, of course.

Water Theme Path in St. Jakob
The Water Theme Path is dedicated to this wet elixir of life. This path is relatively easy, making it ideal for a family outing. Awaiting you on this tour are 31 info boards, telling you all you could wish to know about this amazing element.
Along the way, hikers explore moors, species-rich ponds, clear springs, a natural playground and much more – which is why this Water Path is often described as “Nature’s Free-Range Laboratory”. At the end of the Water Theme Path, you can look forward to a final highlight: the cascades and waterfalls of the Stallenbach stream.
